iUniversity Prep is an amazing school. The teachers are incredibly kind and helpful and they are always there for you. The lessons are challenging and informative and make things fun to learn. I am so grateful that I found this school!
I have been able to really focus on my golf while also taking advanced classes, scoring a 31 on my ACT, and maintaining straight As.
As a high level athlete, traditional high school is not practical for me. Attending iUniversity Prep., allows me to attend class, even when I am traveling for a tournament or have a busy week of practice.
It is an online school so you are responsible for handling your school work and making sure you complete all of your assignments. The school has great teachers and you are able to communicate with your classmates online or meetups. Online school is not for everyone since you have to have a lot of self-control and responsibility so you stay caught up in your lessons and maintain your grades.
iUniversity Prep had great resources to succeed and decent teachers. They responded quickly and were available to assist you whenever need be. I will say, however, that any online program has it's limitations. You don't get the experience of being in a classroom or the benefit of working with other students. You end up teaching yourself a lot of the material simply because there is no actual instructor talking you through lectures or answering questions in real time. This school has provided me the opportunity to get my high school education from a fantastic institution while giving me the time and flexibility to learn at my own speed, take academic opportunities, and pursue higher level training in the arts (dance) without it impeding my schoolwork. I University Prep is an amazing online school program. They pride themselves in being one of the top public online programs in the state of Texas. The staff and teachers are excellent and focused on making student's jobs as easy as possible. The nature of the school brings challenges to students, but the staff and teachers do an amazing job of making themselves readily available and flexible. The teachers were all super helpful, and very communicative with all of their students. They really wanted to see them succeed, and did anything they could to help make that happen. I felt as if the teachers really tried to bond with their students in a more personal way. You wouldn't get this at any other school.
University prep is a very good school for students who play sports or simply don't have time for 7 hours of classroom learning a day. The work is harder than my previous private school was, but it is at your own pace and schedule which is very helpful. All teachers have one goal at this school, and that is to help you learn and succeed. Every teacher is very kind and helpful, and will make their best effort in conforming to your schedule.
