iUniversity Prep was an incredible opportunity for a high school student. Their asynchronous, remote model of learning allowed a great deal of individual educational pursuits external to the provided curriculum, including job and internship opportunities otherwise shuttered to high school students. My daughter started attending in 8th grade and now she’s a senior. This school was a life saver at the time- I had withdrawn her from a brick and mortar school due to bullying and a small town atmosphere of teachers kids getting any extra help. Plus she was extremely involved in rodeo and this allowed her a more flexible schedule to do her sport. Although iuniversity prep is an online school, I believe it is better than a public school. The staff does a great job making it easy to contact the teacher. The staff also makes sure to communicate very well to both the students and the teachers. As far as the work goes, I believe doing an online school especially through iuniversity prep really gets the students prepared for college. iUniversity Prep has been amazing- I'm on my second year going to school here and I've found teachers that are willing to go above and beyond to help, students who are friendly to everybody, and overall a community that truly cares about your learning and success.
They are an amazing school which allowed me to have a full time acting career, which involved me working 10 hours a day and doing school when I could but still gave me such a good education that I had my pick of top tier private schools!
My overall experience with iUniversity Prep was fantastic. I thought that how the school was set up prepared me for college. It may be even harder than the college I am currently at, and I think that is a good thing because a lot of students have trouble transitioning to college due to the increase in personal responsibility. iUniversity Prep instills personal responsibility due to the nature of the school, and depending on the age that one is enrolled into the school, they can learn responsibility at a young age.
IUniversity Prep is a great school that has the flexibility and adaptability that I need in order to keep up with my busy schedule on a daily basis. The teachers are amazing and the students are really welcoming. I feel what especially sets iUniversity Prep apart from other schools is their ability to let you receive up to full credit on any assignment that was turned in late, as well as the support and resources they have available for you in case you need help.
I started attending IUniversity Prep in my junior year of high school, and I must say it has been the best school experience I have had in my 12 school years! The virtual academy allows those who live a busy schedule to work around it at their own convenience, but it still offers the assistance from teachers that a regular Brick and Mortar school would.
